About the role

We are looking for Farm Hands to join our teams in current vacancies on our Farms in our Tamworth Region, NSW. You will be working alongside managers with day-to-day work on the farms. With the scope to progress into future management roles. Duties will include but not limited to:

• • Working as part of an effective and efficient team, including following direction from farm manager and assistant farm manager
  • Working with livestock daily and making sure bird health and wellbeing is excellent.
  • Daily shed routine checks, record keeping, grounds maintenance
  • Completing minor repairs, reporting repairs to be made.
  • Making sure company policies and biosecurity measures are always followed

About you

As this is an entry level role, previous experience with farming is not essential, but would be highly regarded. You are efficient, with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You are a proven self-starter who can work well in a small team. The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to work hard, in a safe manner. You will be required to undergo a pre-employment assessment (incl drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencing in the role.
